We should all promote accessibility and respect human rights whilst embracing and respecting each person as an individual.
I will ensure that equality, diversity and inclusion are embedded at all levels in my work with my clients, colleagues and my professional organisation (The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants).
I will endeavour to identify, raise awareness and take positive and practical steps to support the removal of any barriers to the participation of clients, guests, families and co-workers at any stage of planning or delivery of ceremonies.
I celebrate the difference that makes each person an individual human being.
Bullying, victimisation, harassment and intimidation have no part in our lives and work. I will take action if I witness such behaviour.
I am committed to supporting an inclusive culture in the wedding, funeral and Celebrancy industries.
I want clients, families and guests to feel and be included, comfortable, safe and respected in all aspects of planning and delivery of my ceremonies.
I will ensure that the accessibility of services and information is routinely monitored, reviewed and improved where possible.
I will do my utmost to ensure that my practice is up-to-date through continuing professional development (CPD)
