A compassionate and professional celebrant service that reflects and respects your wishes and the wishes of your loved-one.
If you are using a Funeral Director, I will liaise with them to ensure the Order of Service music and all elements of the service are in place.
At least one visit from me with follow-up phone calls / Zoom / WhatsApp, etc, as needed. I will send you some documentation to help to prepare you for our discussion. It’ll be informal, and you might want to have some other members of the family or a close friend with you.
Together, we will create a meaningful, personal and unique ceremony. There is a certain flow that most celebrations of life take. Whilst I can make suggestions and guide you, I will not impose my ideas on you.
Most people ask me to write and deliver the tribute (the eulogy). I will always send a copy for you to check, amend and approve. Any inaccuracies need to be challenged, and you may have thought of something important to add.
Alternatively, you might have someone in mind to write a tribute. I will need any contributions in advance to ensure nothing overlaps, that I can rehearse if they cannot attend, and to include in the complete copy of the service that I email to you at a later date. We want the ceremony to be right and we only have one chance, so let’s work together on this!
I will craft an order of service for you with your chosen music, readings and spiritual elements included (depending on each venue’s time restrictions or restrictions).
I will be on hand to answer your questions, help with edits and run through any concerns you may have prior to the service.
On the day of the ceremony, I will be at the venue prior to your arrival for the service and as long as you need afterwards. I want you to immerse yourself in saying thank you and goodbye. Leave everything else to me. I will never rush off to another service.
At a later date, a keepsake script of the whole ceremony will be emailed to you after the service. Feel free to share it with other mourners. Please bear in mind that I copyright my material, so I do ask that you don’t share it with other celebrants or families. Thank you.
